Emily DuCoin serves as GentleCare Therapy’s Director of Home & Community Services, overseeing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy delivered in homes and community settings across New Jersey and Greater Philadelphia. Emily pairs operational leadership with an uncompromising standard for clinical excellence and practitioner mentorship.
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), New Jersey Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), and Pennsylvania Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS), Emily earned her Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University and her Bachelor of Psychology from Rowan University. With more than a decade in the field, she has built a comprehensive clinical foundation spanning every level of care: advancing from Behavior Technician to BCBA, clinical supervisor, trainer, and director. Throughout South Jersey and Pennsylvania, she has supported young people with autism across centers, schools, homes, and communities.
What Families Can Expect
Dedicated to naturalistic, individualized therapy, Emily ensures learning is both evidence-based and engaging for every child. “It is so important for kids that ABA is fun,” she says. Beneath her play-centered approach is rigorous clinical precision: Emily leads clinical reviews, delivers targeted coaching to technicians and BCBAs, and upholds clinical benchmarks to ensure every intervention meets strict quality standards.
Emily also unites behavior technicians, BCBAs, and families into a single, coordinated team. “If someone isn’t making progress, then it’s up to us to figure out how to teach them more effectively,” Emily explains. “Seeing the individuals we work with learn and apply new skills makes this profession so deeply rewarding.”
Outside of Work
When she is not supporting families and clinical teams, Emily enjoys outdoor adventures with her dogs and enthusiastically cheering on Philadelphia sports teams.
